Bodrum earthquake 


I’m sure you have all seen on the news about the earthquake in Bodrum and Kos. The earthquake was 6.7 magnitude that hit the Aegean Sea on 20th July at 23:31 triggering a mini Tsunami to emerge as well. Two people died in the earthquake and over 300 injured, our thoughts go out to all those affected. There has been many aftershocks from the earthquake and there is a possibility of more, if you are in Bodrum or travelling to Bodrum follow the advice of the local authorities or your tour operator. The worst hit areas seem to have been Kos although Bodrum and some parts of Mugla coastline were affected. Flights were affected but are now back on normal schedules. Keep safe everyone and make sure you contact your local tour operators if you are travelling to the affected areas in the next few weeks.
